Organizational Memberships
We have many different option for organizational memberships with a wide range of benefits including: news and updates about federal legislation and policy; access to a regularly updated library of funding solicitations; registration discounts for our annual conference; access to our online member community and members only content; and so much more.

College and University Memberships
College and University memberships are open to any department of criminal justice, criminology, political science, public policy, sociology, law school or other related department that is engaged in helping students in the field of criminal justice (or a peripheral field) at a college, community college or university.
Member benefits are available for a select number of faculty, students or staff, based upon dues level (see below). Benefits include:

State/Local Goverment Agency Memberships
State or Local Government Agency membership is open to any state, city, county, or regional government entity except those state administering agencies that administer the Byrne Justice Assistance Grant program.

Tribal Government Memberships
Tribal Government membership is open to members representing the government of federally recognized Indian tribes who are appointed by the appropriate senior tribal official.​

Criminal Justice Planning Board Membership
Criminal Justice Planning Board membership is open to state and local planning boards, criminal justice coordinating councils and other multi-jurisdictional criminal justice planning bodies. ​

Cost of Membership
Corporate memberships for $2,500/year and includes member benefits for up to six employees. Additional memberships can be purchased for $75 per employee.

State Administering Agency
The State Administering Agency (SAA) membership is open to the 56 SAAs who administer the Byrne Justice Assistance Grant program. Members representing the states are appointed by the governor of the state or territory or by the mayor of the District of Columbia as Criminal Justice System Representatives (CJSR) and who are the full-time senior-level employees of the state whose responsibility is the direction of systemic criminal justice planning, coordination, management, research, training, and/or technical assistance.
