Pre-Proposals for Substance Abuse Programs

The Hanley Family Foundation will awards grants to organizations whose primary purpose is the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorder. The foundation accepts letters of inquiry (LOI) on an ongoing basis. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application. Grant amounts are determined on a project-by-project basis. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt or qualify as a public charity under 509(a)(1), (2), or (3). There is no deadline for submitting a LOI, but HFF has a fiscal year ending May 31, and it conducts two funding cycles each fiscal year. Grant applications received by March 31 will be decided on by May 31, and those received by Sep. 30 will be decided on by Nov. 30
