Meeting Evolving Community Needs in Flint, Michigan

The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation makes grants to: 1) support activities and organizations addressing the basic needs of area residents; 2) build the operational and leadership capacities of local nonprofits; 3) provide technical assistance to organizations delivering critical services in the community; and 4) promote the long-term strength and sustainability of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. For special circumstances, this grant-making provides us with the flexibility to help leverage opportunities and resources for the Flint community, test new ideas, incubate local projects and meet specific, unforeseen needs as they arise. Funding for unsolicited requests is very limited. Submit an LOI.
