About the Institute

Register today for the 2017 Institute for Criminal Justice and Public Safety Executives. Hosted by the National Criminal Justice Association and the the National Governors Association, the Institute will be held December 14-15, 2017 at the Hyatt Place Historic District in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Institute will bring together governors' criminal justice policy advisors (CJPAs) and state criminal justice agency administrators (SAAs) to discuss a variety of criminal justice and public safety issues, hear from federal partners, and share best practices.

Hotel Reservations

NGA has reserved a block of rooms for the meeting at the group rate of $157 (standard room) per night plus state and local taxes (currently at 14% and a $2 per night destination fee). The group rate includes complimentary wifi and a full hot breakfast buffet.

SAAs will be responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses. Travel and lodging for one CJPA per state will be covered by NGA. If you are unable to attend, you may send a state SAA designee in your place. If doing so, please provide us with the name and contact information for the alternate attendee.
