Public Agency
This category of membership consists of all public agencies. Public agency members are voting members of the NCJA.
The benefits of the nonprofit membership include:
• Ability to influence national policy through consultation with Congressional leaders and administration officials
• Opportunity to participate in national symposia and conferences
• A subscription to Justice Bulletin, NCJA's weekly newsletter
• A subscription to InfoLetter*, a weekly summary of Congressional and Federal activities affecting state, tribal and local criminal and juvenile justice delivered by e-mail
• A subscription to Short Takes, a bimonthly publication containing funding availability for justice initiatives by Federal agencies and private foundations and organizations. This is published twice per month.
• The opportunity to provide national leadership in shaping the future of the American justice system through interaction with other state and tribal justice leaders and participation in NCJA activities and committees
• Access to research by the NCJA staff
• Access to the members only section of the NCJA web site.
Dues for Public Agency members are based upon number of employees:
Agencies with less than 5 employees--$200
Agencies with 5-12 employees -- $350
Agencies with 12-25 employees --$500
Agencies with 25 or more employees -- $750
* The InfoLetter is provided as a benefit to the Advisory Council, tribal government, public agency and nonprofit members of the National Criminal Justice Association. Other circulation of the InfoLetter may be done only with the permission of the National Criminal Justice Association.
