Media Coverage of the Cuts to Byrne/JAG

Thank you for helping us get the word out about these devastating cuts. Local media outlets all over the country have all written about the impact of these cuts in their communities.

On March 7, 2008, 4,220 individuals were arrested on drug-related charges in Operation Byrne Blitz. Conducted by 41 states, the operation was designed to demonstrate the importance of the Byrne/JAG funds in drug enforcement. Read the press release
