Meet NCJA's Leadership
The NCJA is governed by both a Board of Directors and an Advisory
Council comprised of experienced criminal justice practitioners. These
volunteer leaders give countless hours of their time to help guide NCJA
in its mission. As part of a continuing effort to introduce these
leaders to the entire membership, NCJA has begun a revolving interview
series. We invite you to check back regularly to learn more about
our leaders, their goals for the NCJA and their expertise. All of the
current interviews are listed in the navigation area to the left.

Roland M. Mena is the executive director of the Montana Board of
Crime Control. The Crime Control Board serves as the Governor’s

efforts on issues of jail overcrowding, re-entry and diversion,
disproportionate minority contact in the juvenile justice system,

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

criminal justice system and safe communities. The Council serves as the
state administering agency for federal and state grant programs, is
